The Ideal is to have sun protection clothing, sometimes the sun is really intense, but it is also essential to have thermal clothing and windproof and waterproof.
In this type of activity, you should be dressed in layers:

What should I carry in my backpack?
The backpack should be 60 litres or more. Some reading or music can be interesting at times.
In Torres del Paine exists the chance to recharge batteries for cameras, the battery charger can be very useful, but don´t forget there is no electricity during the night in refugees and camping areas for camera so it is very useful to carry some kind of flashlight .
Shelters and paid campsites have hot showers; gring your own towel, sandals and toiletries.
In some shelters, there are small stores, some extra cash and credit card is never bad.
In Dientes de Navarino there is no buildings or shelted spots to protect yourself from bad weather, it´s only for real adventurers.
Beside, bring tape and tools to repair tears in the clothing and a first aid kit.
